.Levski injury crisis continues...
.14.10.2006. ....but the Blues remain comfortable in domestic football
"I know very well who we are facing but we will definitely not play defensively. Levski's philosophy is always to play for a victory.", Levski Sofia coach Stoilov said concerning the upcoming Champions League match against Werder Bremen.
But Stoilov's positive intentions are not helped by his shortage of strikers.

Emil Angelov and Georgi Ivanov are both definitely out because of injuries while Valeri Domovchiyski is struggling to recover after a five week absence and will probably be forced to start on the bench. There are also injury worries in Levski's defence as Stanislav Angelov and Zhivko Milanov both suffer foot problems, following Bulgaria's international matches from the past week.
Bremen and Levski have met on one previous occasion in UEFA club competition. It took place in the 1993/94 UEFA European Champion Clubs' Cup second round when a 2-2 draw in the Bulgarian capital was followed by a short 1-0 victory for the German team at the Weserstadion.
Meanwhile, the Blues remain comfortable in domestic football, winning their last five games and maintaining an extraordinary run whereby they have yet to concede a goal in their opening nine league outings, while they scored twenty-six. Lokomotiv Sofia are second, trailing Levski by one point.
During Levski's latest game against Belasitsa, Levski fans expressed their support for Aston Villa's Stilian Petrov who decided to quit international football protesting against the incompetence of the individual who currently holds the position of national coach. The fans' banners simply read "Stan, we're with you!" and "Stoichkov out!"
